2 Corinthians 5:19
19: For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.

- For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times.
- And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he declares sinners to be right in his sight because they believe in Jesus.
Psalms 32:1
- Oh, what joy for those whose rebellion is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!
- Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of sin, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!
Romans 11:15
- For since the Jews' rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, how much more wonderful their acceptance will be. It will be life for those who were dead!
